Sublarr Documentation

Sublarr is a self-hosted subtitle manager for anime and media libraries. It searches, scores, downloads, extracts, and syncs subtitles against your *arr stack. Translation is optional and can use local Ollama or cloud backends when no target-language subtitle exists.

Current release: 1.14.5 — episodes stuck re-extracting an embedded subtitle become upgrade candidates, upgrades replace old-style .ger.srt names instead of adding a second subtitle, and a real subtitle is never replaced by a machine translation. See the release notes.
